On the eastern edge of the Caribbean Sea, there is a magical oasis of luxury where the sand is pink, the sea and sky cornflower blue, the people warm and friendly, and the hospitality fit for sophisticated travelers. The Fairmont Royal Pavilion has been described as 'The Jewel in the Crown of Barbados' — an elegant retreat where you can golf exclusive courses, play tennis, snorkel, sail, water ski and revel in the sun. An oasis of luxury and tranquility beneath gently swaying palm trees, The Fairmont Royal Pavilion blends old world grace and stunning scenery.
An iconic five star luxury award-winning resort, The Fairmont Royal
Pavilion has been for decades the epitome of luxury; an elegant retreat
resembling a Barbadian plantation home. All of the Barbados guestrooms are modeled on magnificent ocean vistas. The Fairmont Royal Pavilion Barbados proudly announces 24 newly created ground floor beachfront junior suites with terraces overlooking the Caribbean Sea. There are 48 deluxe oceanfront accommodations.

Making use of produce locally sourced from the island's farmers, the Fairmont Royal Pavilion's executive chef Didier Virot and his culinary team have designed menus which bring distinctive local dishes to life, as well as providing an excellent variety of international cuisine. Blending contemporary flair with Michelin starred expertise, Palm Terrace and Cafe Taboras are some of the most sought-after restaurants on the island, offering exquisite cuisine to tantalize your palate, with views that will take your breath away.

Fairmont is pleased to offer resort guests access to non-motorized water sports equipment such as kayaks, snorkeling gear, paddle boats, windsurfing and stand-up paddleboards. There is also an on-site fully-equipped fitness center and full-service spa. Our dedicated concierge team can arrange off-property activities such as golf, scuba diving, motorized water sports, deep sea fishing and more.
Duty-free shopping is especially popular, with prices
typically being 30% to 50% less than in Europe and North America. When
making duty-free purchases, be sure to have your passport and airline
ticket with you. Your packages will be delivered to the airport or
seaport. The heart and soul of shopping in Barbados is Broad Street in the capital city, Bridgetown. There you will find several large department stores and duty-free shops. Shopping in Barbados is by no means confined to Bridgetown. There are several smaller towns like Holetown, in St. James, and Speightstown, in St. Peter, that feature craft shops and gift shops. Several shopping malls and plazas are also located outside of Bridgetown.
The Fairmont is able to provide anything you need for your group meeting or wedding, including A/V equipment, full executive services, LCD projector, computers and complimentary wireless internet. Talk to us about how to make your next event a memorable one.
